The Dark Goddess Rune Set was created as a divination tool & key to allow you to access your shadow self. The word dark can have negative connotations to some in thinking that it is used in evil or bad. However, dark is not evil just as light is not good.
They’re both measurements of the same thing, complementary forces that are both equally a part of the human experience.

The philosophy of the Dark Goddess is to tear down old structures we’ve outgrown and create something new. Goddesses such as Persephone, Kali, Lilith, & Hekate and the more again show us that all things must end before new growth as possible. They can be chaotic, but the chaos is necessary and leads to liberation from that which holds us back.

The Dark Goddess Rune Set consists of a set of 16 symbols burned into small wooden disks; six of these are Goddess symbols and 10 are the astronomical planet symbols. The planetary symbols have been used as they represent fundamental aspects of the human experience that many of us can resonate with due to their ubiquity and influence on society. The other six symbols represent the teachings of the archetypal Dark Goddesses.
