Hekate’s light shines bright in dark times. With her torch, Hekate meets us at the crossroads of our path, supporting us in releasing what we no longer serves our higher good. She can assist in opening us up to our true Self. It is said she will show you the part of her that you need the most… and the part of your Self that needs to be revealed.
Working with Hekate can be challenging for many of us would prefer to keep our Shadow Self hidden from ourselves. The Goddess of the Crossroads is the light bearer, considered to be a guide to our true path and inner wisdom.

Hekate's time is that of the Dark Moon, the time of release and renewal. She is honored on the 30th of each month, the Dark Moon and tonight, at sunset on until sunset the next day (each year). The Rite of Her Sacred Fires is on the full moon in May & is an international celebration devoted to mysteries and magic of the Goddess of the Crossroads.

Hekate is the Goddess of the liminal spaces, the boundaries and the transitional times of life including birth and death. As a Triformis (Triple Goddess), she rules the realms of Earth, Sea and Sky… the conjunction of past, present and future… the Heavens/Moon, Earth and Underworld. She is the keeper of the Keys. She carries a torch for illumination, dedicated to our Shadow Self, guiding us at the crossroads and the path we eventually choose.
